VELVENOIR, the international art consultancy, is excited to unveil the jazz-focused art collection commissioned and procured for the Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The hotel property is located in the Zuidas financial district on a street named after George Gershwin (1898–1937), one of the most celebrated jazz composers of all time, notably recognized for contributions to Broadway and his 1924 composition Rhapsody in Blue.

Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South tributes the composer in various ways, attesting to his success decades after his death and across distant countries and continents. The newly curated art collection, add a new layer to the legacy of the New York composer across visual interpretations that range from a large-scale mural to text-based works on paper.
