Launching exclusive art carpet by German Artist Jorinde Voigt

VELVENOIR is pleased to launch this exclusive collaboration with artist Jorinde Voigt and Alarwool, introducing her first fine-art carpet edition, crafted from exquisite Spanish wool.

Inspired by the natural beauty of Mallorca, the carpet captures the essence of the island’s ocean and sky. Voigt reflects on “the glittering waves during the day, and the beautiful light that spreads across the body.” By midnight, the warmth stored in the earth lingers, while the glitter of the sea remains a vivid memory.

This piece transforms those summer sensations into art, with every line capturing the joy of the season. Voigt’s design evokes the feeling of happiness, inviting a sense of tranquility and warmth. Made from Spanish wool, this fine-art carpet brings the essence of Mallorca’s light and sea into any space. The result is not just a visual experience but a tactile one, offering a space for reflection, peace, and connection to the Mediterranean.
