There were moments of doubt. Times I questioned whether I was doing the right thing. Sacrifices no one saw. But also moments of beauty, deep trust, and the kind of growth that only comes when you keep going, even when the way forward isn’t clear.

I didn’t build this alone. VELVENOIR has always been a collaboration. With artists, with clients, with an extraordinary team that believes in what we do. Together, we’ve grown a global consultancy, not just in reach, but in depth. And that depth is what I’m most proud of.

We’ve stayed small on purpose. Because intimacy matters. Personal relationships matter. In a world moving faster and more automated every day, we continue to slow down, to listen, to curate, to build something real.

We still offer everything from one source: from the first conversation to the final placement of an artwork, and far beyond. Advisory, procurement, communication, installation, workshops, collection care, valuation, even curated dinners.

Why? Because over the years I’ve seen that’s what truly makes a difference. It’s what helps our clients, whether collectors, architects or hoteliers, feel seen. Supported. Understood.

For private collectors, we continue to create spaces and collections that reflect who they are, and sometimes even who they’re becoming.

For interior designers and architects, we’re here not just as consultants, but as partners. Curious, collaborative, invested.
