Since 2014, under the direction of Alexandra Schafer, VELVENOIR has curated contemporary art for hotels, businesses, and private collectors across the globe. Our strength lies in creating bespoke collections that bring meaning to spaces—emotionally, culturally, and strategically.
As an international art consultancy, we manage projects from start to finish: concept development, targeted curation, sourcing, framing, logistics, spatial integration, documentation, and long-term collection management.
Whether a boutique hotel, clinic, corporate headquarters, or private residence—our goal is to craft a curatorial signature that resonates, shapes identity, and leaves a lasting impression.
Our work is grounded in independence, sensitivity, and the courage to take a different path. Together with our global network of artists, galleries, and experts, we realise art projects that connect—with depth, purpose, and cultural awareness.
