Situated directly on the beach, this minimalist Croatian villa overlooks the gorgeous Adriatic Sea. The building opens right up to the water, and for this reason, we decided to use the ocean as our protagonist, transporting its vast freedom right into the heart of the space and through the couples private art collection.

Situated directly on the beach, this minimalist Croatian villa overlooks the gorgeous Adriatic Sea. The building opens right up to the water, and for this reason, we decided to use the ocean as our protagonist, transporting its vast freedom right into the heart of the space and through the couples private art collection.
Our interdisciplinary Vienna-based team selected artworks that would connect both to the ocean, the project’s main character, and to Austrian interior design company Steininger’s minimalist concept. The design was characterised by the use of understated but luxury materials, like concrete brut, exquisite woods, and rare metal alloys. The simplicity of the interior design really allowed our collection to sing.
