Dear W&P Reader,

It’s again time for me to introduce another Velvenoir Hotspot – QT Sydney –  this hotel was my destination of choice as it is a sexy, sassy and stylish boutique Hotel which  is carved out of the historic State Theatre and Gowings department store buildings, blending Gothic, art deco and Italianate architecture with quirky-but-cool interiors. A must visit spot, for all art & design enthusisasts.

The Hotel is located in Sydney’s central business district, the surrounding area is brimming with culture, art, fashion, cuisine and design, while still being within easy reach of sandy beaches such as Bondi or Manly Beach. The 200 guestrooms come in 12 different edgy design styles that reference the buildings’ past – a very unique approach was adapted within every room. The lobby, linked to the bustle of Market Street, invites guests in with a lively buzz, while the luxurious day spa, as well as the restaurant, lounge, and bar, attract stylish locals.

This boutique hotel is so unique that you could spend your entire stay discovering new art, bits and bobs, hidden quirks, and varying personalities at every turn by just browsing around within this fascinating hotel. In fact the staff have as much personality as the design hotel itself, and with these two combined you simply cannot not enjoy your time here.
