Art Consultant – New York & Seoul
Liz Yisun Kwon is a New York-based curator, writer, and art consultant. She holds Master’s degrees in Art Theory from Seoul National University, and in Arts and Cultural Management from the Pratt Institute. Kwon has developed many research projects on art museums and has gained experience in both the curatorial and management areas of art organizations. Her exhibitions and writings on contemporary art have bridged the New York and Korean art worlds. Working as a gallery director and independent curator, she organized numerous exhibitions and programs on New York based artists. In addition to consulting the private and corporate collections, she is an avid art critic and writer whose publications include Museums make New York Peculiar. Kwon is currently on the board of uJung Art Center and uJung Foundation (Seoul) and the Founder/ Director of LYK Art Projects LLC (New York).
